I am super excited to share this post with you after getting your emails asking me about what my top tips are in living a healthy life. I have made this post relatively short so you can make it manageable & easily implement it into your daily routine if you want to! I am really passionate about feeding my mind with as much information as I can in all areas and in particular, areas that will benefit my health & nutrition knowledge.
Below are routines I truly believe in & have put time, money & effort into learning about and I also do it all as well. I have come to find so many people are saying they do things just because it makes them "look good" .. Don't become one of those people! Start to BE what you want to be, instead of saying!
Ok, so here are some of my top tips - Lets go!
LIVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE - DON'T DIET.
Focus on filling you body with the nutrients it needs instead of dieting, detoxing or counting calories. As I have explained what dieting & counting calories do in my past blog: "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT & MORE" not eating or skipping meals SLOWS down your metabolism, so when you DO eat something your body immediately stores it as fat as it doesn't know when its next meal is coming. GO ORGANIC
Fresh organic food is the way to go, try avoiding yucky processed food, colors, artificial sweeteners & additives. I have this little saying, G.I.G.O - Garbage in, garbage out.. Meaning if you put garbage in, you will get garbage out! This one is a no-brainer, the state of your outside health is the direct reflection of your inside health. If it didn't grow out of the ground, didn't walk, swim or fly - then don't eat it!

ESTABLISH A DAILY ROUTINE
Establishing a daily routine & writing it down helps remind us & make time for things we would like to do - writing it down helps to make the routine a subconscious habit, so post it somewhere you look every day. For me, it is things like reading a positive affirmation before I go to sleep & when I wake up, light body exfoliation, & stretching everyday...

Water plays a key role in every bodily function; circulation, transporting nutrients & oxygen, digestion & even regulating your body temperature. We as human beings are made up of 70% water, we need to rehydrate our bodies so our brains can function to the best of their ability. When you don’t drink enough water your body gets dehydrated and you begin to feel weak, shaky, drained & tired.. If you are one of those people who get up at a very early time in the mornings & find it hard to snap out of the sleepiness - try filling up a bottle of water & drinking the entire thing within 5 minutes, it wakes you up & makes you feel refreshed ready for your day. Also incorporate drinking green tea on a daily basis, Green tea assists in keeping your metabolism working at a healthy rate, provides fiber, and by having lower cholesterol, it increases muscle strength. With green tea assisting in the metabolic rate, you have more energy and hoard less fat which contributes to your overall health and fitness... and it fights aging! Who doesn't like that?
BE ACTIVE
Live an active life every day - Whether it's spending a sweaty huffy puffy session at the gym, going for a run, doing a weights session or yoga... it all contributes towards your well being..THE POWER OF ALKALINITY!
To stay healthy, your blood must remain slightly alkaline. Our bodies operate on a subtle electromagnetic current. When we consume food, our body breaks down the food particles into their smallest size - This is known as "colloids". A colloid is the smallest possible form of a nutrient particle that is then carried to our cells via an electrical charge. If we eat lifeless (E.G: processed foods) or with a low energy frequency, we do not provide our bodies with the energy it requires - Our body then expends electric nerve energy to run the digestive system to break the food down, therefore by eating lifeless food we are taking more energy away from our bodies than we are putting in!

(5 MHz) A Big Mac
(10-25 MHz) Cooked non-organic vegetables
(20-25 MHz) Cooked organic vegetables
(40-50 MHz) Raw Almonds
HOW DO I MAKE MY BODY MORE ALKALINE THAN ACIDIC?
The foods we should be eating must be living, alive foods that carry nutrients to our cells. The foods you should incorporate into your food plan or regular eating should ideally have a frequency of at least 70MHz. If you don't, your body immediately triggers your mind to crave for MORE energy, that's where the urge of eating "artificial energy" comes from (The urge to consume sugar, high calorie foods & coffee!)
(60-75 MHz) Fruits
(70-90 MHz) Green vegetables
(70-90 MHz) Live, fresh wheat grass

To keep your body at a healthy alkaline level - Take a daily dose of wheat grass. You can consume it in three forms - The fresh stuff, the powered drink, or in tablets. My personal choice is the tablets, they are quick & easy to take, while also being very convenient to take anywhere with you. There is no limit to how much wheat grass you can take although please keep in mind that every action has a reaction, I take it twice a day - 8 tablets at a time. This is a basic win for your inside & outside health - It gives you glowing skin, makes you very alert & gives your body long lasting energy without the "crash". You can purchase wheat grass from any health food stores... Don't procrastinate & sit back to say "Ill do it tomorrow.." Do it today if you want a healthy body that runs like it should!
EDUCATE YOURSELF
Apply yourself & learn about the good, the great & the bad things for your body. You spend your entire lifetime with your body, don't you want to learn how to take care of it so it runs faster for longer? Go out & buy books, listen to audio tapes. Learn as much as you can! Your brain is a sponge!
ELIMINATE NEGATIVITY
Believe it or not we are energy & I don't know about you but I would rather be the positive energy than the negative energy - and this really does effect your health! If you hear someone say something negative, just walk away or tell them to stop.. Sometimes people don't even realize how negative they are until they are told. We have the choice to say no to infectious personalities, & if they choose not to make an effort to stop remove them from your life. If you are one for the odd negative talk - the next time you think about doing or saying something bad about someone, slap your wrist or flick your ear. If your body feels pain when thinking negative thoughts, your mind will know that it will be punished if it thinks negativity!
FEED YOUR BODY WITH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS!
Body image affirmations can help to reinforce positive feelings about our bodies, by emphasizing things that we like already. This helps to boost your confidence and feel good with your own body. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. If the beholder is you, then it's really up to you to see yourself beautiful!
"My body is strong & I build my endurance every day.."
"I am appreciative of the compliments I receive about my body while working towards my personal fitness goal"
"I enjoy feeling good about my body & feeding it with healthy nutritious foods"
A positive chant & promise to yourself:
"I, (Insert name here) am dedicated to being healthy on the inside, as well as the outside. I treat my body as a temple... I do not diet, say or think negative things about myself or others. I am positive, determined & driven towards my goals & attract healthy relationships into my life. I will not allow anyone elses negative thoughts or comments come in between me & MY journey."
