My Clean Berry Banana Pancake Stack

I have had so many people ask me about my CLEAN berry banana pancakes since I posted the below picture on my Instagram page

This is my Organic Berry Banana Blast Pancake Stack! 
(Even made Daisy her own puppy friendly version and she loved it!)

- WHAT YOU NEED -
  •  1/2 a cup of organic oats 
  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1 whole organic free range egg
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of almond milk
  • 1 tsp of Acai berry powder (You don't need this to make the pancakes, however I like to use it)

   
Preptime - 5 mins
Cooking time - 5-10 mins 
Lets start cooking;

Firstly, put all of your ingredients into a blender/food processor (you can also use just the egg whites of the eggs if you want, it tastes just as great!), then get your 1/2 tsp of Coconut Essence coconut oil & heat it in a non-stick frying pan - make sure the heat is medium/low so you don't burn the oil or your pancakes!

Pour in the blended ingredients into the pan & cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

Once cooked, top with fresh berries in between your stack of pancakes & drizzle a little agave nectar over the top.

DID YOU KNOW; It’s better to cook with organic Coconut Essence coconut oil on high heat than it is to cook with olive oil?

As I have previously mentioned in my recent post "Compassionate Living" if you are cooking on higher temperatures use coconut oil opposed to extra virgin olive oil – Cold olive oil is a healthy fat full of goodness, however, heated up it becomes a bad fat. Olive oil breaks down at high temperatures & becomes more carcinogenic (i.e toxic) Olive oil is ok if you’re gently heating it up for short periods (Stir-frying veggies for a few mins)
